Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. There are no exit fees or penalties.

Do you offer annual billing?

Yes. Annual billing is available for both Starter and Complete plans and saves you roughly 2 months compared to paying monthly. You can switch between monthly and annual billing from your Settings page.

Can my family members use my account?

On the Complete plan, you can add up to 5 family profiles (partner, children, parents, siblings). Each family member gets their own cases and dispute management. Family profiles are not available on the Starter plan.

How do I start a new dispute case?

Click “New Case” from your dashboard. The wizard guides you through selecting a company, choosing a category, describing your issue, and setting any relevant dates. You can save a draft and come back to it later.

Can I import a case from another platform?

Yes. We support importing cases from Resolver, the Financial Ombudsman Service, Energy Ombudsman, CISAS, RetailADR, Motor Ombudsman, and MoneySavingExpert. You can also import from CSV files or email exports.

What is case readiness and how is it calculated?

Accepted Answer

Case readiness is a score from 0–100 that reflects how well-prepared your case is. It considers factors like evidence uploaded, letters sent, timeline completeness, and whether you’ve followed the recommended escalation steps. A higher score means you’re better prepared for escalation or ombudsman referral.

How long does a typical dispute take to resolve?

It varies widely depending on the company and complexity. Simple complaints can resolve in days. Ombudsman cases typically take 3–6 months. Court claims can take longer. EvenStance tracks all deadlines and reminds you when action is needed, so nothing falls through the cracks.

What happens when my case is resolved?

When you mark a case as resolved, you’ll record the outcome (won, lost, or withdrawn) and any compensation received. We’ll send follow-up emails at 14, 30, and 60 days to check whether the company has honoured its promises. Your case data stays available for export.

Can I escalate my case to an ombudsman?

Yes. EvenStance identifies the correct ombudsman or regulator for your dispute category and guides you through the escalation process. We check eligibility requirements (like the 8-week waiting period) and help you prepare your referral.
